Installation

Average installation time: 5-10 minutes

Recommended installation height for motion detection: 7-8 ft (2-2.5 m) from the ground

Recommended installation places for direct sunlight:

– Wall without eaves

– A pole or fence where sunlight is not blocked

– Over eaves if the eaves are below 3 meters high

eufy Homebase 2 and eufy Solar Panel Connection

SoloCam S40 is a standalone battery camera and can be used without HomeBase 2. HomeBase 2 and eufy Solar Panel are not currently supported, but there will be a supported version in the future.

Operating Conditions:

SoloCam S40 is ready for all seasons and can handle almost anything Mother Nature throws at it. Its IP67 rating shrugs off rain, sleet, and snow.
